Trattoria Toto is the creation of Salvatore Sellitto and Maria Costanza, owners of La Villetta Ristorante in neigboring Boca Raton.

In Italy a Trattoria is one of the most popular eating institutions and is almost always family-run. The food and service in a Trattoria are generally more casual than in a Ristorante and often warmer and more personal. Many guests become regulars at Trattorie because their tastes and preferences become known.

About Toto
The Toto in our name, Trattatoria Toto, is a reference to the Sicilian nickname for Salvatore. Toto also pays homage to the great Italian comedic actor, Antonio de Curtis, commonly known by his stage name, Totò. Totò was also a songwriter and poet. His composition Malafemmena, dedicated to his wife Diana, is featured on our website.
